=============================================
What would it look like if you had a perfect
day? As my husband and I were walking towards the car after
a couple of hours of shopping at the mall (not one of his
favorite activities), he turned to me and said, "Today
was perfect." I asked him why because all we had done
was spend time with friends, run some errands, and do some
shopping. It really didn't seem like anything out of the
ordinary. His reply was, "Because we got to spend time
together."
Having a perfect day doesn't have to mean
fireworks and winning the lottery. Everyday that we are
able to experience can be perfect if we choose it to be.
Perfect also doesn't mean that there are
no problems and that everything goes our way. Perfect can
mean that the lessons that we need to learn have been presented
to us. Perfect can simply mean that our choices have gotten
us to this moment in time and that is where we need to be.
So it is perfect even if at the time it doesn't look so
perfect.
The problem I see is we confuse the word
perfect with preference. We think that if everything isn't
exactly the way we want it to be it isn't perfect. Every
moment is perfect because it is just the way it is. Once
we learn to accept life and get into the flow we begin to
see just how perfect it really is. As long as we struggle
and fight against life, we will fail to see the perfection
of each moment.
Coaching
Each day can be perfect if we choose to
view it that way. It really doesn't matter what happens.
If we are in the flow and accepting life as it comes, we
will begin to see how it unfolds. The perfection of life
comes in the unfolding.
Will you choose to have a perfect day today?
